Bart Everett is a veteran newspaper journalist
and photographer who now lives in Los Angeles.
He grew up as an “airline brat,” traveling with his
family—and later alone—around the world. He
acquired his first camera, a Kodak Duoflex,
when he was about 8 years old and soon moved
on to Leicas and Speed Graphics. He is also a
licensed commercial pilot and flight instructor.
